Game of Thrones Season 5 Finale: All Men Must Die (and Suffer) Indeed

"We don’t choose whom we love…”
                                                Jaime Lannister

Season 5 finale of Game of Thrones aired last night and true to its excellent but vicious form, deaths and tragedies abound in it. A major character, a gentle and principled one, thoroughly loved by the show’s fans, was brutally killed. And then, one, despised by many, did a walk of shame, walking stark naked (which was graphically shot) in the streets while being watched and berated by the public. Another beloved character, a highborn young girl,  seemed to have gone blind after stabbing and hacking a pervert to death while another character, a pursuant to the Iron Throne, who had a penchant for correct grammar and whose young, adorable daughter was burned alive for sacrifice, was also killed (this is a spoiler, hah!) and while all these lovely things were going, a young princess was poisoned while another highborn girl was seen jumping from a tower to escape a cruel man. Delightful episode, isn't it?

And have I mentioned all those nameless and minor characters that were either hacked, stabbed, whacked and speared to death? Or those eaten by a dragon? Darn, this show is horrible! And I miss it already.  It will take around a year for it to be back and many fans addicted to it are already having withdrawal symptoms. I miss Tyrion already. Maybe, I should get  the book. If someone could give me a copy of it, I’d be his/her slave for life. Or if he's a knight, Id be his faithful squire.
