Horror Movies To Make Your Halloween A Little Creepier

       Today is Halloween.

Today is a scary day because ghosts, they say, are roaming the streets, entering the houses and are trying to see what’s up and what’s new with the living. Some will tap you on your shoulder, others will just sit quietly beside you and watch TV with you.

That's not scary enough ? You want this day to be a little scarier? Try watching (or rewatching) these great horror films that are really scary, horror films that will not only have you on the edge of your seat but will literally knock you off your chair:

       1. The Conjuring (2013): Based on true events, two paranormal investigators (husband and wife), help a family that is being terrorized by a dark presence in their house.  Don’t watch this film alone and make sure the lights are on.

       2. The Ring (2002) : A journalist investigates a mysterious videotape which seems to cause the death of anyone who watches it.  Most jump scare tactics don’t work on me but when Sadako crawled out of that TV, I literally jumped from my seat and hid underneath it. I only came out when the movie had finished.

       3. The Sixth Sense (1999) : A boy who sees dead people seeks the help of a child psychologist.  Our jaws all dropped when the twist about the child psychologist was revealed.

       4. The Others (2001) : A woman is convinced that the old house she’s living in with her family is haunted. Watching  Nicole Kidman’s pretty face in any movie is already worth the ticket price, but in this movie, she will creep you out.

       5. The Descent (2005) : Spelunkers get trapped in a cave and are stalked and hunted by monstrous predators. Low budget movie that offers plenty of scares.

And finally, here’s an out of place but timely reminder for the occasion I found haunting the Internet.

Never wait until it’s too late to express your love.
