Put A Little More, Congressman John Bertiz III

Last week, a video of  Party-List Congressman John Bertiz III speaking to  engineering board passers during their oath-taking at the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) went viral. In the video, Congressman Bertiz was heard saying, in a serious, almost angry tone, that all the passers who didn’t know SAP Bong Go (apparently, the congressman’s patron in Malacañang who’s aiming to be a senator) would not get their license, a declaration that was booed by his audience.

Congressman Bertiz III apologized and said that he was only joking at that time, a proof that most people in this present government are nothing but a joke.

Then just a few days after the PRC incident, Congressman Bertiz III struck again. He was seen in yet another viral video ignoring common airport rules and berating and bullying an airport worker whose only crime was to remind him of a certain airport rule.

Congressman Bertiz III, after offering absurd  explanations (which the video could easily belie) on why he went ballistic, had meekly apologized.

But then everyone knows now that there's nothing meek in this politician. Other anecdotes and videos showing him throwing his weight around are now surfacing.  He's conceited, arrogant, feeling high and mighty and untouchable, and that he ran for a public office not to serve the people but to be served and be treated like a king. Unfortunately, majority of our politicians do not really differ from this tyrant-wannabe, most of them are self-serving, greedy and corrupt who think majority of the people are idiots, gullible and uneducated..

And that’s why the Philippines  has always been doomed.

And you know why these politicians think lowly of us and are contemptuous of us, the voting public, the people they’re supposed to serve? Because despite the fact that these fuckers keep on fucking us up, we keep on voting them. The Marcoses, the Estradas, despicable politicians all, but where are they now?  All still safely lodged in the corridors of power. Bummer, isn’t it?

So, Congressman Bertiz III should put a little more effort if he wants the public to take his apologies seriously. Yes, put a little more effort, Cong.

       Put a little more.
