Love Without Conditions, Just Licks and Snuggles

Image
I was inside a pet shop inside a mall yesterday, looking for a certain brand of dog treats   when   I noticed a dog groomer pushing a tall cart that carried two cute dogs: a corgi and a Shih Tzu. The corgi was smiling at everyone while the Shih Tzu looked somber, until it saw its owner. The Shih Tzu immediately perked up and then a tragedy, sort of, happened.   It leapt happily towards its owner, and fell to the floor with a thud.      The owner rushed to it and the Shih Tzu, not minding what happened to it, not minding if it suffered a concussion, instantly snuggled and licked its owner — a rich-looking lad — and danced happily in its owner’s arms.      That’s what make dogs better than most humans, they aren’t scared to show their love. It’s like the sole reason they exist is to show their love and appreciation and make the people they love and love them feel loved. That is why lots of people ...

[Nothing But] Flowers

Deactivated

Few days ago, I found out that one of my SIM cards (I have two CP numbers and both had been registered) had been deactivated. No, not because I was involved in some scams but because of ‘non-usage.’ I mostly use the other number, so I had forgotten this other number, and the telecom company, probably tired and jealous of watching me preferring to take care of the other number, preferring to snuggle with it and go to bed with it,   just up and yelled, “Enough of you ignoring us!” And then it scrammed.      I didn’t know that they needed my care and attention.      Largely to blame for my number’s deactivation here was the free chat on Messenger, instead of texting, we now just send messages on Messenger. Unlike text messaging, it's free and you’re immediately aware if your message has reached or has been read by the recipient, or if the recipient is ignoring your message.      I know ...
