Love Without Conditions, Just Licks and Snuggles
I was inside a pet shop inside a mall yesterday, looking for a certain brand of dog treats when I noticed a dog groomer pushing a tall cart that carried two cute dogs: a corgi and a Shih Tzu. The corgi was smiling at everyone while the Shih Tzu looked somber, until it saw its owner. The Shih Tzu immediately perked up and then a tragedy, sort of, happened. It leapt happily towards its owner, and fell to the floor with a thud. The owner rushed to it and the Shih Tzu, not minding what happened to it, not minding if it suffered a concussion, instantly snuggled and licked its owner — a rich-looking lad — and danced happily in its owner’s arms. That’s what make dogs better than most humans, they aren’t scared to show their love. It’s like the sole reason they exist is to show their love and appreciation and make the people they love and love them feel loved.
