The Love Bites

Image
Every time they were being intimate, Yana would remind Andrew not to give her kiss marks or love bites on her body parts which were visible even when you're dressed, especially on the neck, so he’d playfully give her love bites on her butt or on her breasts or other parts that were covered by clothes.      “Because your family won’t like it?” he asked her while they were in bed preparing to make love.      But she shook her head and said, “No, they know I have a boyfriend so those things are okay for them.”      "So who’s gonna scold you when you get a visible hickey?”      “Can we stop talking about it?” she said, kissing him on the lips. “Anyway, you can always give me love bites on my ass.” She chuckled.      And it was a lovemaking so hot he forgot the rules.      “Oh, my God! Oh, My God!” Yana shrieked as she looked at her naked reflection in the mirror. “You gave me hickeys on my neck!”      “Sorry,” he said as he lay down on the bed, still savorin

The Old Man And The Desire To Stop Being A Burden

Image
Thom Yorke (Radiohead frontman) has written quite a lot of depressing songs, his melancholic voice, in fact, is enough to get you depressed. One sad song he has written, which happened to appear in my News Feed this evening and which will probably make you cry if you’d dealt with old people in your life is “Last Flowers." It's about, at least in my interpretation, an old man who’s asking the people taking care of him to let him die (“if you take me there, you’ll get relief”). Why should he continue to live? He’s too old, probably too sick, insomniac (“I can’t face the evening straight”), his mind too erratic and delusional (“houses move and houses speak”), he can’t cope up with the modern technology, can’t probably operate these modern TVs and gadgets (“appliances have gone berserk, I cannot keep up”) and no one listens to him and takes him seriously anymore (“If I’m gonna talk, I just wanna talk, please don’t interrupt”).      But of course, people around him just

Boosted

Image
Three days ago, Francis saw an Instagram post of a former colleague about how she had been given her fist vaccine booster shot. And it reminded him that he hadn’t gotten his first booster shot. So this morning, since he’d also been thinking of buying something, he went to a mall, and at around eleven in the morning, he was inoculated.      And while still strolling inside the mall, he stopped outside the window of an appliance store, and one of the TVs was on a news program, and the news being aired was about the politicians of his country finally admitting their corruption and promising to return the wealth they had stolen from the nation's coffer.  Some politicians appeared so guilty  that that they were weeping, declaring they were ready to go to jail, some even thinking of committing suicide. And as Francis went out of the mall, he saw a politician jumping from the top floor of the mall, and waving repeatedly with tears in his eyes at Francis before hitting

Feeding The Dog

Image
So there’s this dog trainer at YouTube who had been feeding his six-month old Belgian Malinois table food (adobo with rice, kare-kare with rice, Bicol express with rice, etc) for weeks. He even would add condiments (toyo, patis, etc. on it probably whenever the dog would complain that the food was kinda matabang ) and only when his viewers started commenting that it wasn’t really ideal and utterly unhealthy to feed dogs table food, especially puppies, that he realized that it was wrong. He even asked a vet for a confirmation and he was told that yes, it was wrong to feed dogs table food, especially when you add patis or toyo in it. Some kind of dog trainer, huh.      And now, his problem is it’s proving to be difficult to make the dog eat regular dog food again. The dog has become a food connoisseur and won’t eat unless it’s lechon manok or salmon (one with lemon butter sauce), or, yes, kare-kare. Sometimes, it wants caviar as appetizer and pizza or hamburger, not treats, as
