Judas

 


     Today is Holy Wednesday, the day Judas betrayed Jesus, and here’s an experiment you can do that’s appropriate during this week, go to some popular public Facebook accounts, especially the political ones, where there's always heated arguments. And when you see someone swearing and commenting obscenely, rudely, harshly, and wickedly against the ones that they are having an argument with, or wishing them and their family the most cruel and tragic deaths, take a peek at these vulgar people accounts, the ones doing the cursing and the threats, and a lot of times, oddly, you’d see Bible verses there preaching about loving your neighbors or being kind and forgiving, or quotes about how they fear and love God.

     Sometimes, you’d even see an image of Jesus on their cover photo.

     So, what does the Bible say about these people? Titus 1:16 “They profess to know God, but they deny Him by the way they live. They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work.”

     Now, look at the account of those who upload and share naughty posts on their Facebook account, they don’t post religious stuff and Bible verses (can’t recite one to save their life) and did some grave mistakes in the past. But many of them, you won’t see them cursing and wishing other people cruel deaths. And if you’d meet them in real life, you’d see that they’re God-fearing and nice and kind to other people.

    Such life ironies.

AND HERE'S SOME BAD NEWS...

Seventeen years ago, Maureen Hultman, 16 years old, Roland John Chapman, 21 and Jussi Olavi Leino, 24, were returning home from a party when they were accosted and confronted by Claudio Teehankee Jr, 45. Teehankee, who was unknown to the three, demanded some identification. Leino took out his wallet and showed Teehankee an ID. Chapman approached them and asked Teehankee: “Why are you bothering us?” Teehankee drew out his gun and shot Chapman in the chest. “Why did you shoot me?” Chapman asked Teehankee as he was crumpling to the ground. Chapman died on the spot. Teehankee then ordered the now hysterical Hultman and Leino to sit together on the sidewalk. While seated, unarmed and begging for mercy, the two were gunned down by Teehankee. Hultman was killed while Leino survived and later identified Teehankee as the gunman. Roger Waters, Thom Yorke, Taylor Swift, and an Audacious Instagram User

       Roger Waters (former Pink Floyd frontman) and Thom Yorke (Radiohead frontman), two of my favorite songwriters of all time, continue to feud with each other. The quarrel started a few years ago, I think, when Roger wrote and asked Thom not to perform in Israel, which Thom ignored. Roger has been protesting Israel for a long time and asking his fellow artists no to go and perform there. He called Thom “damaged and not very bright.” Lol.      I learned that a friend had recently undergone surgery for myoma, which was a common benign tumor in uterus, and wished her well. I really don’t know what causes it, but no, long-term celibacy doesn’t cause it. Lol.      I have an Instagram account which is empty and pointless and thoroughly inactive, but despite that, one account had the temerity to follow me. Lol.
