The Dance Of Salome

Her photos would every now and then appear on my Facebook Newsfeed, most of them in sexy, revealing poses. I didn’t know her, I thought she was just some random girl—a friend of my Facebook friend, maybe— who loved to take sexy photos of herself. When I looked at the comments, I was surprised to see most of them lewd, cruel and degrading. It turned out that she was a hooker and a porn star. I got curious and watched her videos, and I blushed—man, they were hardcore.

And then I forgot about her, until one day, one of my sisters asked if we were able to watch a video of a popular vlogger/actress interviewing a hooker/porn actress. She said she was stunned to find out that a hardcore porn actress and a hooker (yes, the hooker and porn star I was previously talking about) could be very smart and articulate (could speak in fluent English). It turned out that she was a fine arts graduate from a very reputable school (probably the number one university in the country).

Told ya, don’t judge a book by its cover.

I watched the interview and yes, she was very smart indeed. When asked why she ended up with her current job, she blamed her being jobless at one period of her life—and the fact the she grew up in a dysfunctional family with parents that had the habit of belittling and mocking her looks and abilities.

“You’d never amount to anything” was a phrase she would often hear from them.

I don’t know if you could consider being a porn star and a hooker an achievement but the fact that she was being interviewed by famous personalities and her sex videos raking up millions of views could only mean that yes, she amounted to something. Oh, and she acts in some TV shows now, I think.

She also declared that she didn’t have any plans ever of entering into a romantic relationship as she was scared that no one would take her seriously. I don’t know, but I’m sure if she’d quit her current job, replace it with a decent one and express utter regrets about it, say that it was a terrible  mistake doing that salacious dance, and then forget it, I’m sure, there would be guys that would be serious about having a relationship with her.

What’s in the past shouldn't matter; what’s important is what she could offer in the present and in the future.

She’s smart, so certainly, it would always be nice talking to her, and she got the looks, aside from the fact that the sex would always be wild.

     I’m blushing again—Lol.
