The Perfect Day To Die

 


     “Is there a perfect day to die?”

     That is a tough question, so, I asked Microsoft Pilot, and it told me that it was sorry that I was feeling this way, and that I wasn’t alone and that there were people who really loved me and cared for me that would love to help me. It then gave me some hotline to suicide prevention sites. Lol. I was just trying to write a blog entry.

     Anyway, some people would say that maybe, the perfect day to die would be when you’re celebrating your 150th birthday, as it is sort of awesome to be born and to die at the same date. And also, you’re already 150 years old, so it’s probably more than okay to die already. Lol. Christmas is also the perfect day to die, as it’s the day Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior was born. Maybe, Jesus would be in saving mode that day and save your soul. The eve of New Year’s Day, at the time when people are exploding firecrackers to shoo away all the evil and bad spirits would also be a nice time to die, as there would be no evil or bad spirits around to drag your soul to hell.

     But the better question maybe is: what is the perfect way to die? Some would say that dying surrounded by your loved ones would be perfect. Also, dying in your sleep while dreaming something wonderful would seem perfect. For me, I think one perfect way to die is breathing your last while you’re in the arms of a supermodel, er, I mean, your beloved.

While The Room Dances (And The Night Sways)

       Few days ago, I had another bout of severe dizziness. The last one occurred a few years ago, way before the pandemic. I woke up at around two in the morning with my room spinning and I was perspiring really cold sweats. I thought I was about to have a heart attack (that is what Google will tell you when you look for it) so I grabbed my phone when the vertigo subsided and deactivated my Facebook account. That has been my plan, to have my social media account die with me. So I lay there (strangely relaxed) in my bed while the room danced in the darkness and the night swayed and cold sweats broke out from every part of my body and waited for the attack.
